You can also Block SBI ATM Card by SMS. To Block you have to send a SMS from your Registered Mobile Number with SBI.
Once your request is accepted by SBI, you will receive a confirmation SMS with the ticket number, date and time of blocking.
Steps to Block SBI ATM Card by SMS:
Step 1. Type a Text Message from your registered Mobile number in the Format ‘BLOCK'<space>’XXXX’ (Here, XXXX is the last 4-digits of your SBI ATM Card number)
Step 2. Send the SMS to 567676
After the request is accepted by the Bank you will a get a Confirmation message & the status of the Blocked ATM Card.
